Hohenwestedt
The parish of Hohenwestedt is in the southern part of Rendsburg- Eckernförde. At the moment it has nearly 5000 inhabitants and because of its service industries and commercial companies it has a shopping centre for the surrounding communities.

Westküstenpark

The museum Howaldtsche Metallgießerei has the goal to present the wonderful architecture and the history of the old foundry (built in 1863). Visitors will get live presentation of the workflow from moulding to casting every Sunday.
